Paul dropped me off just a couple miles north of the Eagle Lake area. I headed north through part of the Modoc National Forest into Adin, CA, where I am staying with Alfred Peck. He and his family have been fantastic hosts!

Nim root!! Nice!!! Looking good Jim!! So glad Paul came up and spent some time with you, I'm sure it can be pretty quiet. Take care and hydrate and eat bananas so your legs don't cramp up!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Angie!
DeletePics are looking awesome Jim. 1st one and 3rd one look like postcards! I just stole them for my desktop.
ReplyDeleteDid you use your polarizer on Shasta pic? Need to get one on my zoom before I head out that way next. I will get that awesome Shasta pic one day! Glad to hear you've not been eaten by wild chipmunks.
I did use the polarizer on that!
DeleteGood God man! i see your posts and i feel as if i'm doing nothing with my life. keep this shit up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gary! Dude, I'm not doing anything with my life, either haha
DeleteOn the long journey toward monumental.
ReplyDeleteWherever you go, there you are!
DeleteGreat video commentary, Jim! It does get a little lonely out there on the road. Fortunately, that can change in a minute when you meet great people. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteAlso when you meet crappy people haha. Thanks, Eric!
Deletethat's pigweed, they're really invasive weeds in a garden, their roots are about six feet down, and huge.
ReplyDeleteNow that doesn't surprise me one bit. Anji, I've seen some awesome pieces out on the road so far, and I really wish I could pick them up and give them to you, but there's just no way to carry that sort of stuff with all my other crap.
